Meet Katrin Howes,

Meet Director and Head Coach,
Katrin Howes.
“I believe we are all inherently
worthy of health and happiness but
that we can all lose sight of that.
Sometimes it is necessary to recognise that we are not alone on this journey of life and that others are a gift that enable us to see aspects of ourselves we may have been avoiding or neglecting in our quest to be safe and survive.
When we call out asking for help and find that someone arrives that empowers us to return home to the truth of who we are, we realise that is what we were searching for: to return home to ourselves.
Often feeling seen, heard, held and supported can give us the courage to unpack what may have been holding us back and allow us to approach life changes with a fresh perspective and
a growing awareness.
Then, as we remember how to trust our
inner wisdom and capacity we can choose to move forward and begin the process of
liberating ourselves. As we grow in self-awareness we remember that life exists to be enjoyed and that how we enact that is unique to each of us.
I am here to willingly, gently and tenderly guide you to maybe go a little slower, breathe a little deeper and begin to experience more
contentment in life as you do so.”

Katrin spent over 15 years working within inbound Customer Service within Melbourne’s retail water industry and her local Council both as a Customer Service Representative and Workplace Training Specialist.
In 2014 she enacted a career change transitioning into the Early Childhood Education & Care sector while still working in Customer Service. She has worked within Early Years Learning settings around Australia, experiencing the sector in Melbourne, Darwin and regional NSW. Her roles were varied and include working as an Inclusion Support Educator, Group Leader, Preschool Assistant Teacher and Account Administrator. Throughout this time she became increasingly passionate about children’s/family wellbeing with a focus on emotional/mental health fuelled by her own lived experience and as a mother of 3 school aged children.
Her vision to bring Yoga & Mindfulness to young children and families was born in 2017 and then enacted in 2019 in Wagga Wagga, NSW after she began transitioning out of the sector due to injury. She retrained as a Children’s Yoga Teacher just prior and during the global pandemic.
By then deeply committed and dedicated to her own return to vital wellbeing she put her vision on hold to focus on her own healing journey and began to build the Your Wellbeing Matters Coaching practice to support others on a similar journey to her own.
Her vision for ‘The Art of Being Family Wellbeing Centre’ for Wagga remains intact and she is seeking to return to working directly with children via a planned Kids’ Coaching Certification which will allow her to support local children/families within the Riverina community.
She also looks forward to returning to study in 2024, beginning a qualification in Health Science, indulging her passion for all things wellbeing!
